These block-printed table napkins are crafted by hand using a carved wooden block on handwoven organic cotton, then dyed slowly in natural, plant-based colors. Now offered in a gentle pastel terracotta palette, this colorway brings a warm, inviting softness to any table setting. The pattern is inspired by small carved windows found in traditional architecture—openings that allowed the breeze to pass through. For us, these windows symbolized freedom. We hope these napkins serve as the same gentle reminder: to keep seeking your own little windows that let you breathe, grow, and live freely. Perfect for everyday meals, festive hosting, or thoughtful, eco-conscious gifting, these cloth napkins add meaning, craft, and beauty to any dining moment. • hand block printed using carved wooden blocks • hand dyed in natural dyes • color: terracotta • fabric: organic cotton • size: 19" x 19" • includes: set of 4 * Please note that slight color variations may occur, as each fabric absorbs natural dyes differently—a beautiful part of the handmade process. * Colors may also vary due to differences in monitor or device settings. --------------------------------------- ABOUT BLOCK PRINTING Block Printing is an ancient printing technique especially with the use of vegetable dyes. After the wooden block is carved with the pattern, the fabric is then prepared with multiple washes to make the fiber ready to take the dye. With the process of multiple printings and washing before the final product is placed in a dye bath of flowers and barks, the fabric goes through the hands of the block printer and dyer with utmost care. That same care is passed onto the consumer who wishes to take part in this process of honoring the craft and the earth that gives us so much.
