Kristy Kay is an artist, designer, and maker whose creative roots were shaped by a family of entrepreneurs and artists. Inspired by a lifelong love of textiles and color, she spent more than a decade in animation, contributing to films including The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, Hotel Transylvania 2, and Smurfs: The Lost Village, where she helped develop immersive visual worlds. Following the pandemic and the experience of becoming a mother, she shifted her focus toward a more intentional, hands-on approach to creating.
