This variety received Second Place at the 2016 SWROGA Orchid Spring Show. Compact & Beautiful: Presented in an approximately 4-inch glass terrarium, this miniature orchid reaches about 2 inches wide at maturity, making it a unique living accent for desks, shelves, offices, and small spaces. Self-Sustaining Growing System: Bloomify’s specialized nutrient gel provides the moisture and nutrients the orchid needs while inside its sealed environment. No routine watering or fertilizing is required while the terrarium remains sealed. Repeat Blooming: Under suitable growing conditions, Psygmorchis pusilla can develop new flower spikes and bloom repeatedly. Individual blooms may remain attractive for several weeks, creating an ever-changing living display. Simple Indoor Display: Keep the terrarium sealed and place it in a location with bright ambient or indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight or other strong light sources that may cause the glass container to overheat. Do not remove the cork lid, as opening the sealed environment may introduce contamination. Transplantable: When you are ready to grow the orchid traditionally, it can be removed from the terrarium and transplanted into an appropriate orchid medium such as long-fiber sphagnum moss.
