Large 39" Hand Dyed Batik Bandana, 100% Soft Cotton, Abstract Flowers, Teal, Patina Blue

This is a hand-dyed and hand-stamped batik bandana, handmade by artisans. This fabric is handmade by artisans in Java using centuries old wax & dye batik technique. This fabric is made from soft lightweight bandana fabric. This bandana is made from white cotton fabric that is then hand-stamped and hand-dyed using 700 years old batik wax and dye technique. The batik fabric is also then sun baked. You should expect some variation of the color. This pattern is called Abstract Flowers. Size: 39”x39” Due to the pre-washing process and the use of hot wax in its creation, our bandana may have slight variations in shape, resulting in a non-perfect square. This minor shrinkage is a natural part of the traditional batik process, adding to the uniqueness of each piece. Larger than our normal size batik bandana of ~ 20". XL bandana. Bandana top.
