Little Ndaba designs and creates knitted and crochet stuffed animals from cotton. These pieces have two equally important functions - to provide a source of income for women from rural and semi rural communities and to raise awareness and funds for conservation and the environment.

Our cotton is currently sourced from neighboring Tanzania but this year we hope to have our first batch of Zambian grown, rain fed, chemical free, hand spun cotton yarn to use. This cotton will eventually be grown by small scale farmers in Game Management Areas as a cash crop but also to serve as an elephant barrier around their food crops. We also use our skills with other materials including discarded fast fashion to create giant animal pieces as well as wrap baskets. We currently work with approximately 80+ women from different villages in Zambia and our main conservation partner is Game Rangers International. Our products appeal to children and adults alike!
