Turquoise Mountain was founded in 2006 by His Majesty King Charles III to revive historic areas and traditional crafts in places where heritage is under threat. Today they work in Afghanistan, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, and the Levant.
Since its founding, Turquoise Mountain has restored over 150 historic buildings, trained and created jobs for over ten thousand artisans, supported over 250 businesses, offered arts education to hundreds of students, and facilitated over $19 million in sales of traditional crafts to international markets. We have also welcomed more than 1 million visitors to exhibitions that celebrate the art and craftsmanship of the countries in which we work.
Our goal is to generate sustainable incomes for artisans by supporting their diverse heritages and crafts.
Please note that the minimum order value is per country.
