Based in South Luangwa, a remote region of Zambia, they employ local artisans to create ethically handcrafted home décor pieces. Hand painted textiles draw inspiration from Africa’s vibrant heritage, blending traditional techniques with contemporary composition and colors. From sourcing to production, each piece is thoughtfully designed and made by hand with respect for the environment. Tribal Textiles strives to minimise their environmental impact by using sustainable, locally sourced materials and repurposing waste.

Tribal Textiles is proud to be a recipient of the Nest Seal of Ethical Handcraft. Created in collaboration with worldwide leading brand partners, compliance experts and artisan business leaders, this 9-month assessment measures compliance across a matrix of 130 standards. The Nest Seal is a symbol of assurance to let consumers know that each product - from fashion to furniture - has been ethically handcrafted in a home or small workshop.
