These designs aren’t chalet-perfect by accident. We can thank the creative artistry of Juan, a skilled weaver, whose small shop is nestled in the foothills of Toluca Valley. Every day, he slowly footlooms charcoal, beige and gray hues into diamond patterns, inspired by the  shapes of the mountains above—and made from the wool of sheep living in the valley below.
