Studio Coppre began in 2014 with the aim to revive the craftsmanship and talent of artisans across India. Recognizing the gap in the market for high-quality, handcrafted wares and the need to promote and preserve the skills of metal workers, Coppre works with groups in northern and western India, impacting the lives of over 200 artisans and their families.

While their range of products has since grown to far more than just copper-based, Studio Coppre have kept their name because, in their own words, "We like what this material represents and alludes to – natural, inherently glamorous, recyclable and malleable to shape and evolve."
