Take one glance in Petate’s hand-woven mirror while wearing the brand’s wicker earrings, and you’ll have a new color of confidence all day. This sustainable home goods and accessories company uses natural fibers and dyes to create products that radiate sophistication, created by artisans across Mexico.
Many of Petate’s made-to-order items use wicker sourced from Queretaro, hand-loomed in the nearby village of Tequisquiapan. The threaded wall-hanger, for example, will create a colorful mosaic in your home. This product is made with wild grasses (called Sacate de Cambra), fastened with beeswax and dyed shades of violet that tint to light pink pastels.
We are excited to work with a brand that preserves and elevates natural beauty, so you can bring it into your home—without even getting your shoes dirty.
