The Photographer / Artist Manny Sanchez was born in Long Island New York to Cuban parents. When Manny was very young his family moved to Los Angeles, where he began his lifelong love of photography. This marked the beginnings of what would become a vast portfolio of images from his travels around the globe. In 2010 Manny returned to New York and currently resides in Brooklyn. Inspired by the fashion, architectural and the landscape of Central Park and having a textile background he began to work with fabrics and photography as an art medium. Soon he began transferring his pictures onto silks and Model - thus the idea for Manuelle Scarves. Since the launch of Manuelle in 2012, his collection has grown and is now sold in over 60 boutiques across America and Canada, including the MAD Museum gift shop and the Metropolitan Museum gift store in NYC.
