Laura Useche, the visionary behind Laura Lucia Joyería, has nurtured a dream that has been taking shape over many years. As a Colombian industrial designer specializing in jewelry design, assembly, and casting, she brings a wealth of expertise and creativity to her craft.
In 2018, Laura embarked on a transformative journey to Mompox, Bolívar, where she had the privilege of studying the traditional filigree technique under the tutelage of two women artisans from a lineage deeply rooted in the art of fabricating filigree precious metalwork.

Laura’s pieces are crafted using an array of techniques and materials, representing a modern interpretation of a traditionally elegant style.
Laura's designs are characterized by their eclectic use of materials, encompassing leather, cloth, wood, paint, resin, semi-precious stones, and exotic gems. This diverse palette forms an integral part of her design philosophy, infusing each piece with a unique character that sets it apart from traditional jewelry.
