Bodhita means spiritual enlightenment in Pali, which is considered to be a sacred language. Design elements derived from the Turkish and Western cultures’ interaction with the Indian philosopy, from which it gets its name and inspiration, are universal. It embodies the stories, tales and legends through Its collections and glorifies with the mastery of local artisan. Every crafted piece embraces the past with the spirit of today.

Bodhita was founded in 2018 by its creator Erge Başak Ünsal, from Istanbul. Her involvement through art, nature and people led her to turn this interest into pieces that anyone can carry. She conveys concepts of infinity and belonging through natural and supernatural figures. She combines the elements received from nature with gold, silver, bronze, precious and semiprecious stones that exist in nature.

With attention to all ethical values, Bodhita processes recycled precious – semiprecious metals with a sustainable production approach. Designs carrying universal values are crafted by hand using local techniques.
