These slippers are handmade from 100% cotton fibre by local artisans in India using the traditional ikat weaving technique, which uses the resist dyeing technique similar to tie and dye. Either the warp or the weft yarn is dyed and then weaved, when both are dyed and weaved it is called double Ikat. Natural colours are used by the artisans to dye the fabric.

Thoughtfully designed and consciously carved, the wood salad servers are made to last. A fine addition to your kitchen, the servers are hand-carved from locally sourced and sustainably harvested Mexican Rosewood, Tiger Wood and Ziricote woods in Peten, Guatemala. The servers come with a beeswax finish and is food safe. The earnings from the craft helps create further employment and education in Guatemala.
